Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has announced recruitment of 183 Class-1 and Class-2 posts. This GPSC recruitment includes 73 posts of Class-1 Officer and 110 posts of Class-2 Officer. Age limit
The minimum age of the candidate who wants to apply in GPSC Class-1,2 Recruitment 2021 should be 20 years and the maximum age should be 35 years. At the same time OBC, SC, ST, PWD candidate will get relaxation in the age limit as per the rule of government.
Educational Qualification
Salary scale
Candidates selected in GPSC Class-1 will get salary and other allowances of Rs. 56,100/- to Rs. 1,77,500/- as per pay matrix level-10.
Candidates selected in GPSC Class-2 will get salary and other allowances of Rs. 44,900/- to Rs. 1,42,400/- as per pay matrix level-8.

Selection process
For the selection of 183 posts out of millions of candidates, a three-stage recruitment test is conducted through a filter system. The first phase of the preliminary test will be held on December 12, 2021, which will be a one-day test.
Candidates who pass the preliminary examination will be able to appear for the Mains examination. The main exam clearer will be called for interview, after which the final list will be announced.

Thus GPSC Class-1,2 Preliminary Examination of total 400 marks is held. The result will be given around January 2022. Out of which 15 candidates (approximately 3000) of the total seats will be selected for the main examination. Which will be a total test of 900 marks.

Seeing this advertisement, millions of candidates will participate in this selection process. Many of them will take the exam for the first time. Who will get a short time of about 80 days. Thus, by selecting three thousand candidates out of millions, one has to work day and night to do justice to the syllabus of the Priliminary Test.
The GPSC exam syllabus is 6 pages in length, covering history, arts and culture, state system, mental capacity, economy, geography, science and technology and current affairs.
However, the cut-off mark for passing the exam was 118.47 out of 400 marks last year. The cut-off mark in various categories of reservations also went down to 80.54 marks.
