Dr. Savitaben Ambedkar Intercaste Marriage Sahay Yojana Eligibility Criteria
To benefit from the Intercaste Marriage Assistance Scheme, the following conditions must be met:
- One of the marrying individuals should be a native of Gujarat.
- The marriage must be registered and applied for within two years after the ceremony.
- The parents of the couple should reside in Gujarat.
- Widows or widowers without children are also eligible.
- No income limit is specified.
- The man should be over 21 years old, and the woman should be over 18 years old.
Benefits of the Marriage Sahay Yojana
The scheme provides the following financial benefits:
- Rs. 1,00,000/- in joint names of the husband and wife.
- Rs. 1,50,000/- for the purchase of household appliances.
