UPSC CDS 2022 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started online job notification process for candidates who want to sit for Joint Defence Services Exam-1 2022 (CDS 1 Exam 2022) on upsconline.nic.in.

Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy Hyderabad, Officers Training Academy Chennai (Madras) and Officers Training Academy, Chennai have 31st S1 vacancies for women. Candidates will be able to apply online on the UPSC online website till January 11, 2022 and will have to appear for the Written Exam scheduled on April 10, 2022 (Sunday).
UPSC CDS Exam Notification
This examination will be conducted at various centers across the country. Eligible candidates will be issued an e-admit card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. Candidates who qualify will be called for Intelligence and Personality Test at the Service Selection Board (SSB).
Candidates who pass the written test and give first preference as Army (IMA / OTA) are required to register themselves on the website of Recruiting Directorate www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to get information for SSB interview.
Educational Qualification
Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy - Candidates should have a graduate degree from a recognised university.
Indian Naval Academy - Candidates should have a degree in the relevant field from a recognised university.
Air Force Academy - Candidates should have a degree from a recognised university (with 10 + 2 level physics and mathematics) or a bachelor's degree in engineering.
Graduate candidates with first choice as Army / Navy / Air Force are required to submit proof of Graduation / Provisional Certificates at SSB on the date of commencement of SSB interview.
Candidates who are studying in final year / semester degree course and are yet to pass final year degree examination can also apply, however candidate should not have any backlog till last semester / year. Should have come.
Exam pattern
The level of primary mathematics question papers will be at matric level and other subjects will be at graduation level of Indian University.
For admission in Officer Training Academy - There will be English and General Knowledge questions only. Both the subjects will be of 100 marks and 2 hours will be allotted for each subject.
