The benefit of this scheme will be available to all farmers holding land in the state. Under this scheme, even if the account holder farmer has more than one account, the assistance will be available only once. In case of joint account, farmers will be entitled to benefit from only one of the account holders mentioned in 3-A of their land.
Under the scheme, farmers will have to apply online for assistance under smartphone purchase on i-khedut portal. The applicant farmer will then have to print out the application and keep it with him.

(F) After purchasing the smartphone within the stipulated time, the applicant farmer has to submit the following supporting evidence along with the printout of the signed application to the Gram Sevak / Extension Officer / Taluka Implementing Officer.
The concerned office will have to update the status of the application on the I-Khedut portal after receiving the application along with the instrumental proof. The competent officer of the good agriculture department then pays the amount of assistance to the applicant farmer on the smartphone purchased by the applicant farmer. The proposal has to be prepared and sent to the concerned nodal agency for payment.
