Railway ALP Recruitment 2025: RRB has released a recruitment notification for filling up 9900+ post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP).
RRB ALP New Vacancy 2025 Online Form Registration start from 10th April to 9th May 2025. The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), under the Government of the Ministry of Railways, has approved to issue Centralized Employment Notification for the position of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) to fill 9970 vacancies in various Zonal Railways.
Eligible Indian citizens who have successfully completed a minimum of Matriculation and ITI or Diploma are eligible to apply for the RRB ALP 2025 through rrbapply.gov.in. RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:
- Option 1: 10th Pass + ITI in relevant trade
- Option 2: Diploma/Degree in Engineering (relevant field)
Another option is Matriculation/SSLC plus a three-year Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering, or a combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognized institution in lieu of ITI.
Note: A degree in the mentioned Engineering disciplines will also be acceptable in lieu of a Diploma in Engineering.
RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:
The Railway ALP Recruitment Process shall comprise of the following stages:
- First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1)
- Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2)
- Documents Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination (ME)
RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 Application Fee:
Rs. 500/- for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 250/- fee for SC / ST / EBC / ESM / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

How to Apply RRB ALP Recruitment 2025
- Eligible Interested candidates can apply online only through RRB Ministry of Railways Online Application Portal (www.rrbapply.gov.in) from opening date. The Candidates must first 'Create an Account' for this CEN through the link given on the Official RRB Website.
- The Candidates must have an active personal mobile number and a valid email ID for receiving OTPs for Account Verification and Creation. After creating an account, candidates should log in to apply for RRB ALP 2025 through any one of the RRB portals.
- The Candidates are mandatory to upload a scanned copy of a recent clear color passport-size photograph, signature and other required documents.
- The Candidates are required to pay application fee through online payment mode.
