An important decision has been taken by the Government of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel to fill 27,847 posts of various Gujarat Police Constables Class-3 Recruitment cadre under the State Home Department with a view to expedite the recruitment of pending Gujarat Police Constables due to covid and strengthen the law and order situation in the state. This was stated by Shri Harsh Sanghvi, Minister of State for Home Affairs.
Shortly after taking charge as Home Minister, Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Harsh Sanghvi held a meeting with the Chairmen of the Recruitment Board on Sunday, September 19, 2021 and gave detailed orders to all the Chairmen of the Recruitment Board to expedite the recruitment process.
Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Harsh Sanghvi added that the state has police sub-inspectors, police sub-inspectors (platoon commanders), intelligence officers, assistant sub-inspectors, security guards and police sub-inspectors and technical operators and homeguards of technical cadres such as motor transport and wireless.
